They are essential to the company’s prosperity. This book shows the importance of stakeholder theory and aims to have it recognized as a realistic and forward-looking model of democracy in business.
Maria Bonnafous-Boucher, holds a PhD with accreditation to supervise research, she is director of research at Novancia Business School Paris, co-director of the research chair in entrepeneurship of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris-Ile de France, (HEC, ESCP Europe, Novancia, Esiee Paris), vice-president of European Business Ethics Network France. She co-directed Stakeholder Theory (Palgrave, 2005) and Décider avec les parties prenantes (La Découverte, 2006).
Jacob Dahl Rendtorff, holds a PhD with accreditation to supervise research, he is an associate professor at the University of Roskilde (Denmark), visiting professor at the Copenhagen Business School (Denmark) and President of European Ethics Network Scandinavia. He is the author of Responsibility, Ethics and Legitimacy of Corporations (Copenhagen Business School Press, 2009).
