Gérard Mauger, sociologue, directeur de recherche émérite au CNRS, est chercheur au Centre européen de sociologie et de science politique (CNRS-EHESSParis-I).
This book offers a clear and overarching sociological perspective about notions of different ages in life (familial, school, professional socializations, etc.) and of generations (inheritance within economic, cultural forms, etc.). Many of these questions are the objects of current debate among journalists, politicians, and other experts (psychologists and psychoanalysts).
Gérard Mauger, a sociologist, is director emeritus of research at the CNRS, and a researcher at the Centre européen de sociologie et de science politique (CNRS-EHESS-Paris-I). He has already published La sociologie de la délinquance juvénile (2009) in the same collection.
