Economies today are regulated by the presence of networks of service providers, clients, competitors or various partners. They affect most organisations are and they influence how they are run. What drives these networks to exist? What shape do they take? What effect do they have on how the organisations they are linked to behave?
Matthieu Mandard is a lecturer in management sciences at Université Rennes-I and a member of the Centre de recherche en économie et management (CREM – UMR CNRS 6211). His work centres on the study of social networks in an organisational context as well as the protection of innovation and management historiography.
