This work provides a welcome summary of a strangely neglected subject, the importance of which is commensurate with that of one of the main actors in the modern world, NGOs, whose size and professionalism expose them to certain specific management problems.
The authors explain, in particular, the managerialization of NGOs, where the growing trend towards the performance, efficacity and efficiency of actions encounters (not always harmoniously) a vision based on engagement, vocation and militancy.
