Critical Theory was born out of the concept of catastrophe in twentieth-century European thought, First known for the founding works of Horkheimer and Adorno, from a multidisciplinary Marxist perspective, it has survived with authors such as Honneth and Rosa. This book retraces this path and reveals what our understanding of contemporary capitalism owes to this philosophical trend.
