For the past thirty years, professional equality has figured high on the political agenda in France and other European Union countries, in companies, and in social partner organizations. Nevertheless, its implementation remains largely incomplete, as witnessed by the persistance of inequalities between men and women in the labor market. Perspectives on the radical revolution that the circumstances of women have experienced – a revolution still unfulfilled.
