This book is a clear introduction to a school of thought reputed to be difficult and enigmatic. It is structured around the course of Wittgenstein’s fascinating life (1889-1951) and never strays far from his work. This work also attempts to explain his considerable influence on the social sciences – some even refer to the “Wittgenstein symptom”.
