Named a green city in 2010, then listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO two years later, Rabat was already described as a model “Garden City” at the beginning of the 20th century. The choice of the area and the reasons for this classification are evidence of the exceptional landscaping of the capital which has kept its identity as a modern garden city. With almost 450 illustrations, the unique balance between city and nature in Rabat, can be admired by all.
